About the role
Overview
As a Material Handler , also known as a Returnable Plastic Container (RPC) Sorter , you’ll get to hand sort a container weighing about 10 ounces that issued to ship produce, eggs, meat, and other goods onto pallets for manufacturers. This is a vital role for our sites to ensure we maintain a high level of efficiency and accuracy of performance!
Hourly Pay
$17.00/hr.
Shift(s)
3rd Shift: Thursday 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm & Friday – Sunday 6:00 am - 6:30 pm

What You'll Do
- Hand stack RPC’s on pallets to appropriate height, following inventory control instructions
- Examine products for quality standards
- Ensure all trash and debris is removed prior to returning to customer
- Wrap sorted pallets and secure for shipment
- Move pallets, or materials on pallets or in crates, around the storage facility
- Accurately complete all paperwork to track daily progress
Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager regularly
What You'll Need
- High school degree or GED required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills needed
- Ability to work overtime when needed
