ACI Building Systems, LLC. is seeking a Welder-Fitter to join our growing team. The Welder-Fitter assists in the fabrication of steel frames and building components. Ability to MIG weld and fit are a plus.
Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To
- scrapers, 7” grinders, welding hood and gouger for tools used
- Safely perform skilled welding in the fabrication of steel frames and building components
- Maintain proper housekeeping of assigned work area
- Must always have a high awareness for safety
- Any other duties assigned
- Must train on company policies and procedures
- Must follow welding procedures
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Familiar/fluent in MIG processes
- Previous experience with plasma torches & oxy acetylene cutting a plus
- Welding certifications beneficial but not required
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50lbs., bend, squat, kneel and or stand for extended periods of time
- Must wear proper safety equipment
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Knowledge of basic math (add, subtract, multiply & divide fractions)
