Description
Advanced Dermatology, P.C. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Medical Assistant to join our Paramus team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Medical Assistant looking to take the next step in their career and assume a leadership role within the organization.
Position Summary
The Lead Medical Assistant will demonstrate strong clinical knowledge, leadership potential, professionalism, and a commitment to supporting both providers and fellow team members in delivering exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
Minimum
of 2 years of dermatology experience required.
EMA experience is required.
Cosmetic dermatology experience is preferred.
Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and ability to lead by example.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with providers, management, and staff.
Requirements
Must be available to work
full-time
in the
Paramus office
.
Current part-time employees interested in transitioning to a full-time schedule are encouraged to apply.
Full-time Medical Assistants from other Advanced Dermatology locations are also encouraged to apply.
Must be willing to travel to other
New Jersey and/or Manhattan locations
as needed for training and operational support.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on Paramus office operational hours.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a clinical leader and resource for Medical Assistants within the office.
Support provider workflows and ensure efficient patient flow.
Assist with onboarding and training of new staff members.
Maintain compliance with company policies, clinical protocols, and documentation standards.
Promote a positive team environment focused on patient satisfaction and operational excellence.
Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process improvement and staff development.
