Package Description: We're excited to be opening a brand-new supported living service in the heart of Gosport, comprising seven self-contained flats for adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs. Conveniently located close to local amenities, this is a unique opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to play a key role in shaping and developing the service from the ground up. Alongside providing day-to-day operational oversight and leadership, you will be actively involved in the mobilisation, design, and successful launch of the service, helping to create a high-quality, person-centred environment where people can thrive.
About The Role
Reporting to the Registered Manager, as Deputy Manager you will be responsible for providing operational management support, leadership, and oversight across multiple services within the Hampshire region in Southampton, Fareham & Gosport.
You will support in delivering a safe, caring, responsive, effective, and well-led service for both the people we support and staff, ensuring the highest possible standards of care are maintained in line with organisational and regulatory Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will ensure that individual needs are regularly reviewed to meet current requirements, and that high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety are consistently maintained across all services.
You will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the services, assuming full responsibility in their absence.
We are opening a new supported living service in Gosport for adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs. This is an opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to help shape and develop the service. Responsibilities include providing management support, leadership, and oversight across services in Southampton, Fareham, and Gosport. Ensure a safe, caring, responsive, effective, and well-led service, maintaining high care standards. You will support the Registered Manager in the running of services, handling operational and quality assurance KPIs, staff management, and budget discipline. Other duties include safeguarding, meeting attendance, shift work, and on-call duties.
