Job Purpose We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in leading our care home team. As a Deputy Manager at Akari Care, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care, enhancing the well-being of our residents, and driving the success of our care home. Key Responsibilities Leadership Support: To assist the Home Manager in providing strong and effective leadership our Colleagues, fostering a culture of excellence, compassion, and continuous improvement. Operational Management: Helping oversee the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with all Akari Care and regulatory standards, deputising in the Home Managers absence. Quality Care: Ensuring the delivery of exceptional care meeting the individual needs of each resident, promoting their well-being and dignity. Team Development: Supporting the recruitment, training and development of Colleagues. Including the mentoring of the nursing team, fostering a supportive and motivated work environment.
The Deputy Home Manager Nurse Qualified at Akari Care is a permanent position based in Prudhoe, with a salary of £24.50 per hour. The Deputy Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Home Manager by providing strong leadership, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include delivering quality care, developing team members, and maintaining effective communication with residents and families. Applicants should be Registered Nurses with valid NMC registration and experience in social care.
