Amersham Health Centre has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated salaried GP (maternity cover) to join our dynamic, progressive, and supportive practice from January 2027. The post is for 6 sessions per week across 3 days working Monday, Wednesday and Friday, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a thriving team.
As a Salaried GP, you will provide high-quality medical care to patients, ensuring services align with primary care contracts. Your responsibilities will include managing acute and chronic conditions, prescribing in line with national guidelines, and handling administrative tasks such as referrals and prescriptions. You will participate in telephone triage and duty doctor roles on a rotational basis, maintain accurate clinical records, and adhere to best practices and audit recommendations.
