About the role
Overview
Amyx is seeking a Network Engineer to support a new program supporting DISA and USCENTCOM. In this role, you will work support DISA and USCENTCOM in evaluating and re-architecting existing and planned information and communications technology services across the CENTCOM AOR.
Responsibilities
- Provide network engineering subject matter expertise for a host of technical requirements support DISA Central objectives and requirements.
- Provide technical and non-technical project management at DISA Central Field Office - Bahrain assisting with C4 planning, engineering, modeling and provisioning of ICT services and infrastructure
- Support development of strategies and planning methodologies supporting ICT infrastructure
- Provide commercial lease acquisition and testing support
- Maintain installation implementation and integration records to assist with future network troubleshooting
- Maintain technical library for all system and unit/component documentation
- Available for TDY throughout CENTCOM AOR in support of DISA Central requirementsMust have the ability to communicate accurate information
- Must have the ability to communicate accurate information
Qualifications
Required
- Active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility• Bachelors degree• 10 years or experience supporting DOD Network requirements
Desired
- 5+ years experience directly supporting DISA and USCENTCOM
