Position Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool provides high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple departments, including inpatient and outpatient settings. This role is ideal for a highly adaptable nurse who thrives in a dynamic environment and is confident delivering care across a variety of clinical areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care across assigned departments
- Float between units to meet patient care needs and staffing demands
- Perform patient assessments, monitor conditions, and respond to changes promptly
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
- Respond effectively in emergency and high-acuity situations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Minimum Qualifications
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Experience: Recent Medical-Surgical, Emergency, or Critical Care experience required
Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – required within orientation
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – required within 3 months

Employment Requirements
- Compliance with all hospital policies, including vaccination requirements (approved exemptions considered)
