Ashington House Surgery is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Phlebotomist to join our busy primary care team for 25 hours per week .
Perform venepuncture safely and efficiently in accordance with clinical guidelines.
Identify, label and process blood samples accurately.
Ensure specimens are handled and transported appropriately.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Provide reassurance and support to patients during procedures.
Adhere to infection prevention and control procedures.
Work collaboratively with clinicians, nurses and administrative staff.
Maintain equipment and stock levels within the phlebotomy area.
