About the role
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with event setups, changeovers and operational tasks as directed by the manager or supervisor
Move tables, chairs, risers, bleachers, staging and other furniture between event spaces and storage as directed
Installation and removal of floor coverings, pipe & drape, bike rack, etc.
Painting as needed
Snow removal
- Physical work/heavy lifting is common and required
- Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur
- All other duties/responsibilities as assigned
- POSITION AVAILABILITY: This part-time position offers flexible, on-call shifts based on event schedules and operational needs
- WORKING CONDITIONS: Activities occur both inside and outside. Some activities occur in temperatures below 32 for more than one-hour periods. Irregular hours dictated by events.
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: High school diploma / GED preferred
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs overhead, and push/pull a minimum of 50 lbs. Bend, squat and work in awkward positions
