About the role
Salary: £23.49 to £26.34
To
be responsible for implementing an effective medicine management system within
the practice, including cost-effective prescribing, working as an independent
prescriber, providing advice and support for both patients and colleagues. In addition,
the post-holder will also support the multi-disciplinary team, in line with the
strategic objectives of the practice.
This is not a remote position and the post-holder will be required to work from
the practice premises. This post would suit someone who may wish to work 15
hours a week within school-hours such as 9.30am to 2.30pm three days a week.
Act as an independent prescriber within scope of practice, managing acute and repeat prescribing and providing face-to-face or telephone consultations for patients. Offer expert medicines advice, promote self-care and improve medication adherence.
