Responsibilities
💼 What You’ll Do:
- Assist physicians and Advanced Practice Providers during exams and procedures
- Prepare patients for visits and gather health data
- Document treatments and patient education in our electronic medical system
- Coordinate specialty testing and consultations
- Handle incoming/outgoing calls with professionalism and clinical judgment
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and Orlando/Baptist Health standards
Qualifications
🎯 What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or 1+ year of relevant experience
Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification
Certification or registration from a recognized agency (e.g., CCMA, CMA, RMA, etc.) within 6 months of hire
