ABOUT THE ROLE As a Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical) at Barchester, you'll travel across your region to manage and develop the teams in various care homes, to help us deliver the high quality care and service we're known for. Working closely with the General Manager or hiring manager, you'll help implement action plans that make sure our resident's needs are met. Taking on leadership duties in the absence of the General Manager, you can expect to help with everything from care standards to motivating your team. You'll inspire a multidisciplinary team to make sure they help every resident to enjoy the best possible quality of life. That means leading by example and monitoring standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice and checking our regulatory compliance. You'll set the highest standards and draw on your skills to develop and deliver strategies that will help you achieve your goals. ABOUT YOU To join us as a Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical), you'll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification.

Experience within a nursing home setting is essential, alongside evidence of continued professional development. You should have a successful track record in managing safeguarding investigations, clinical risk assessments, and HR experience. Furthermore, knowledge of sales, marketing, and budget management is important.
