CNC Setup Programmer – DMG MORI

Big Bolt LLC is looking for an experienced
CNC Setup Programmer with DMG MORI experience
to join our manufacturing team in Bloomingdale, IL.
This is a hands-on position where you'll set up, program, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment used to manufacture
custom and non-standard specialty fasteners
. If you're confident reading prints, making program adjustments, selecting tooling, and inspecting your own work, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Set up and program DMG MORI CNC machines
- Operate CNC equipment to produce precision specialty fasteners
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Select appropriate tooling, offsets, speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters
- Make program and machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
Perform
- first-piece and in-process inspections
- Use precision measuring equipment to verify specifications
- Troubleshoot machining, programming, and setup issues
- Work independently to identify and resolve production challenges
- Support continuous improvement and efficient manufacturing processes
What We're Looking For
DMG MORI CNC experience is required for this position.
We're also looking for candidates with:
Previous
CNC setup and programming experience
Experience with CNC
- turning and/or milling
- Strong blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation skills
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Strong precision measurement and inspection skills
- Experience making CNC program adjustments
- Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned work
- Fastener or specialty manufacturing experience is a plus
