We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic patient focused individual to join our well established reception team at Blackpool Urgent Treatment Centre.
The post covers a range of reception duties including, greeting patients, covering the reception desk, assisting patients with the ED Streamer check-in system, answering the telephones, dealing with general queries etc. in an accurate, timely and professional manner.
Reception is the
first point of contact for patients attending the Urgent Treatment Centre. The
receptionist will record demographics and other mandatory information, which
will include clinical details on the joint computer system. They will act as a
first point of contact for all patients wishing to access unscheduled healthcare
and will signpost patients to identified service providers as appropriate. This will involve welcoming new patients into the service and providing support and guidance on the ED Streamer check-in system.
