Be able to demonstrate leadership and management skills
Be flexible with a caring attitude, rotating throughout the maternity departments and to be a part of the on-call service we provide.
Have excellent and extended clinical skills
Be able to develop clinical skills and participate in continuing their professional development.
Have experience in solving problems and using initiative.
Have the ability to take the lead when caring for women and their babies, identifying any deterioration from normal and escalating appropriately.
Be able to communicate and work together in a multidisciplinary team.

We offer band 7 secondment posts within the unit, where you will feel supported and guided by familiar colleagues that you would have built a rapport with through your band 6 experience.
