- We’re expanding our team and are looking for a confident, solutions-focused Underwriter who can balance commercial thinking with strong risk awareness.
What You’ll Do
- Assess and underwrite bridging loan applications across residential, semi-commercial and commercial properties.
- Make clear, confident decisions in line with funding and risk appetite.
- Communicate decisions effectively to brokers, clients and internal teams.
- Work creatively to structure deals that work for both the client and the business.
- Manage your own pipeline while supporting team delivery.
- Build strong relationships with brokers and external partners.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous underwriting experience within short-term/bridging finance (essential).
- Strong understanding of property, valuations, risk and deal structure.
- Confident communicator who can handle challenging conversations when needed.
- A problem solver who enjoys the quirk and complexity of deals.
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and stays calm under pressure.
