Summary:
The Accounting Intern will gain experience and learn essential industry skills by assisting our team with accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and other projects for clients.
Responsibilities:
Help prepare invoice and expense reports
Analyze financial data
Perform research for budgeting and financial forecasting
Check financial documents and journal entries for accuracy
Qualifications:
Accounting and Finance students as well as students with another relevant concentration who have a strong interest in pursuing a public accounting career
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
Interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication
The ability to be discreet when handling sensitive financial information
A willingness to learn
Detail-oriented
Analytical skills
Working Conditions:
Ability to sit and use computers for extended periods of time
Ability to provide own transportation for traveling to client assignments
This position starts in January and ends in March
