The Medical Education Department at Buckinghamshire have a 6 month Fixed Term post available from February 2027 based across Stoke Mandeville & Wycombe Hospitals.The Medical Education Fellow post is a unique and exciting opportunity which combines an educational role aimed at developing undergraduate and postgraduate education in Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust (BHT) with a one day a week clinical role in a speciality within the trust.
Duties of the Education Fellow post holder
The main teaching duties of the post holder are to support the delivery of the BHT's high quality medical education including the development, delivery and evaluation of courses in undergraduate medical education (with students from University of Oxford Medical School, St George's Medical School and University of Buckingham Medical School) and postgraduate medical education and related activities.
Specific aspects of the undergraduate teaching role:
Participate in the development, coordination, delivery and evaluation of undergraduate courses and assessment Work with specific departments to develop and improve the undergraduate experience Planning and providing dedicated bedside teaching, tutorials and lectures Support undergraduate clinical skills and simulation training
