The Community Inpatient Unit provides short-term,
bed-based rehabilitation, re-enablement, and recovery support for individuals
following illness, injury, surgery, or significant health events. The service
promotes independence, prevents unnecessary hospital admission or long-term
care placement, and supports timely hospital discharges. Care is delivered by
multidisciplinary teams including Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational
Therapists, Social Workers, and Care Staff.
