We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Specialist Podiatrist to join our inclusive and supportive Brent and Harrow Specialist Care Team . We are seeking a full time post holder to join the team, following the promotion of a valued colleague. Provide specialised podiatry treatments using advanced skills and knowledge.
Autonomously assess, diagnose, and manage patients, including those with high-risk factors.
Develop and implement tailored treatment and care plans, adopting a problem-solving approach and engaging patients and carers in their care.
Deliver general and specialist foot health advice, including carrying out regular nail surgery sessions on a rotational basis.
Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
Delegate appropriate care tasks to podiatry assistants when necessary.
Maintain accurate patient records, including assessments and treatment plans.
Ensure clinical rooms and equipment meet infection control standards and Podiatry service guidelines.
Contribute to the development of clinical standards, protocols, and service improvement initiatives.
Maintain focus and precision while performing complex, physically demanding procedures in a busy clinical environment.
