At Central Valley Specialty Hospital, we are committed to providing our patients the best care. We are currently recruiting for passionate Biomed Dialysis Technician to join our team.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in biomedical engineering or technology preferred
3-5 years’ relevant experience working with biomedical equipment
CBET certification required
Skilled proficiency in the use of tools and test equipment
Ability to interpret technical data like electronic circuit diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
Ability to solve technical and performance problems using information from a variety of sources
Working knowledge of technical requirements, codes, and standards associated with the field
Advanced computer skills
Basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Job Duties:
Perform preventative maintenance on dialysis machine and portable reverse machine
Perform water cultures and dialysate culture
Perform scheduled maintenance inspections and performance assurance inspections on equipment to ensure safe and effective operating conditions
Test and calibrate components using a variety of manuals, troubleshooting techniques, and code requirements
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies
Ensure documentation is complete, timely, and accurate
Repair and replace complex biomedical equipment and systems
Install and adjust a variety of biomedical and research equipment
Diagnose equipment malfunctions with accuracy and precision
Additional duties as assigned.
