Junior Sister / Charge Nurse - Band 6
Ensuring the effective running of the clinical area in the absence of the sister / charge nurse. Lead a specific team of nurses and provide clinical and managerial leadership to the multi- professional team in that area. Role modelling expert clinical care, sharing this clinical expertise through practice development, education, mentorship and preceptorship. Leading on specific management tasks and projects as delegated by the sister / charge nurse. Representing the sister / charge nurse at directorate and trust meetings.
