About the role
As a Busser, you'll be a vital part of our dining team, ensuring that our dining areas are always ready for guests and that service runs smoothly. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent support to servers and a clean, comfortable environment for our guests. You'll play a key role in maintaining the flow of service and contributing to a positive dining experience.
- Prepare the dining room for service, including setting and resetting tables for guest use.
- Promptly remove dirty dishes from tables during and after the dining experience.
- Assist servers with the delivery of food and beverages to tables. Stock server-side stations as needed.
- Sweep, mop, and maintain the cleanliness of the dining rooms. Uphold cleanliness standards for your station and shared areas of responsibility. Follow safe food handling procedures and provide a safe environment for guests.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests. Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate them to the relevant team members.
- Follow all laws pertaining to the sales and service of alcoholic beverages.
- Promote a fun, friendly, quick, comfortable, clean, and safe environment ("The Big Six").
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is an entry-level position with little to no previous work experience required.
- Ability to obtain a food handler’s card.
- Ability to obtain a state-issued Alcoholic Beverage License.
- Requires lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, in settings that may include exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise.
