Butcher and Hotline Cook
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Butcher and Hotline Cook to join our culinary team. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cut meats according to specified standards at our commissary kitchen for catering unit and our other 3 restaurant locations to ensuring quality and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the butcher station and storage areas
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation of meat products
- Cook and serve food items promptly on the hotline, ensuring consistency and quality
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during operation hours
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a butcher or meat cutter preferred
- Previous experience in a hotline or line cook role is advantageous
- Knowledge of meat cuts, preparation techniques, and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
