About the role
Direct and manage multiple mechanical construction projects simultaneously.
Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, manpower forecasts, and profitability projections.
Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, contracts, and subcontracts.
Lead project planning, execution, and coordination efforts with owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and field teams.
Manage project procurement activities, including major equipment and material purchases.
Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, permit requirements, inspections, and project documentation.
Monitor project financial performance, including cost tracking, billings, collections, forecasting, and margin management.
Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to maintain project objectives.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor safety, quality, productivity, and schedule compliance.
Mentor assistant project managers, coordinators, and project engineers.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships that support repeat business opportunities.
Lead project closeout activities, including commissioning, punch list completion, as-built documentation, O&M manuals, warranty administration, and final invoicing.
Support business development, estimating, and preconstruction efforts when needed.
