Position Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide skilled occupational therapy services to help patients improve function, mobility, independence, and quality of life
Document patient progress accurately and timely
Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing, physicians, and other members of the care team
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and recommendations
Participate in care planning and discharge planning
Qualifications
Current Michigan Occupational Therapist (OT) license
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Previous SNF, inpatient, outpatient, or rehabilitation experience preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
Passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care
