As a PRN
Physical Therapist Assistant
, you'll work alongside an experienced rehabilitation team to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence.
What You'll Do
Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Implement individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities
Assist patients with improving strength, mobility, balance and endurance
Monitor patient responses and communicate changes to the supervising PT
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility and safety
Complete accurate and timely documentation
Collaborate with nursing and other members of the interdisciplinary team
Promote patient safety and quality outcomes
What We're Looking For
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current Michigan PTA license or eligibility for licensure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient-centered approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skilled nursing, post-acute or geriatric experience is a plus
