Description
- We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Stone Slinger Truck Driver/Operator to join our team in Greenville, SC. This position involves delivering and placing aggregate materials at residential, commercial, and construction job sites using a stone slinger truck.
- Responsibilities: Safely operate and drive a stone slinger truck to various job sites
- Deliver and accurately place materials including stone, gravel, sand, mulch, and soil
- Operate conveyor and slinger systems efficiently and safely
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of truck and equipment
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and dispatch
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
- Assist with loading/unloading and other job site duties as needed
Requirements
Valid CDL Class A or B license
Must be able to drive a manual transmission
Clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous construction or aggregate delivery experience
- Knowledge of Greenville and surrounding areas
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus
