About the role

Salary: £46149.00 to £54226.00

You will be joining a supportive and forward-thinking team that values clinical excellence, innovation and professional development. Whether your passion lies in advanced assessment, diagnostics, injection therapy, rehabilitation or service improvement, you will be encouraged to develop your specialist interests and contribute to shaping the future of MSK care.

We recognise that excellent Advanced Practitioners develop through structured support and experience. Therefore, we welcome applications from experienced MSK Physiotherapists and First Contact Practitioners who may not yet meet all Advanced Practice competencies but can demonstrate the potential, ambition and clinical capability to develop into the role. Successful candidates will be supported through a structured development pathway with mentorship from our experienced Advanced Practice team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of integrated MSK care within a Single Point of Access (SPA) service, alongside a team of Advanced Practice Physiotherapists, MSK Consultants and GPs with Extended Roles. You will play a key role in ensuring patients receive the right intervention, in the right place, at the right time.

As an autonomous practitioner, you will undertake advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis and management of patients presenting with a wide range of complex musculoskeletal conditions. You will be responsible for independently requesting, interpreting and acting upon diagnostic investigations, including imaging results, and making informed decisions regarding patient management.

Working across primary and secondary care interfaces, you will coordinate onward referrals into specialist services where appropriate, helping to streamline pathways and improve patient outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to develop advanced clinical expertise while making a tangible impact on local MSK services.

Working within a dynamic group of clinicians and supporting service colleagues you will learn from and with them and be proud when you inspire and develop others from your expertise too. Here are the added extras to our commitment to being a great place to work.

Your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) will be a priority as we invest in your development and reward you for giving your best. The below are the added extras to our commitment to being a great place to work.
