Residential Sales Executive (Telecommunications)
Cal-Ore Communications | Northern California
Cal-Ore Communications is seeking a motivated Residential Outside Sales Executive to drive sales of Internet, Voice, and Smart Home services across our Northern California service areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and sell to new residential customers (door-to-door and outbound calls)
- Conduct customer needs assessments and present tailored solutions
- Manage a sales pipeline and track opportunities in Salesforce
- Prepare and deliver proposals (in-person and virtual)
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
- Participate in community events, trade shows, and marketing activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful service delivery
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications
- 1–3 years of sales experience (telecom preferred)
- Strong consultative selling, closing, and communication skills
- Experience managing a territory and sales pipeline
CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to work evenings and weekends, as needed
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: $69,000 - $79,000 total annual earnings (OTE) includes base salary plus commission
- Base Salary: $45,000 – $55,000 (DOE)
- Commission: ~$2,000/month at target, with a ramp up period and significant upside

New Hire Bonus: $5,000, paid in two installments, subject to the employee remaining actively employed and all eligibility requirements are satisfied on each payment date:
- $2,500 following 120 days of continuous employment
- $2,500 following 12 months of continuous employment
