Overview
Valley Dental Associates is looking for a Dental Assistant in Owings Mill, Maryland to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities
- Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
- Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
- Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
Qualifications
Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program or 1 year on-the-job-experience
EFDA certificatiom - Preferred
X-Ray certification - Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Dental Assistant
are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
