Position Summary
- Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School is seeking a qualified and dedicated Science Teacher to join its faculty. This individual will provide engaging instruction while supporting the academic and spiritual development of students in a Catholic learning environment.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Deliver effective science instruction to diverse student populations
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments and exams
- Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success
- Address academic and behavioral concerns with professionalism
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Science or related field required
- Valid teaching certification or appropriate college hours in science required
- Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Science or Education
- Prior teaching experience, preferably at the high school level
- Catholic Identity Requirement: Must support and uphold the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church and demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education.
