Responsibilities:
Assembly
Collect all materials and equipment needed to begin the assembly process
Follow guidelines and work instructions on military and standard jobs
Align material and put together parts to build more complex units
Sort and/or repair nonconforming parts (NCMRs)
Powder Coating
Prepare parts for coating
Follow all principles and practices of powder coating application
Operate all coating equipment including guns, hoppers, oven and booth collection systems
Ensure that all components are produced/coated effectively and are consistent with company established goals for quality and customer orders
Packing/Vent
Follow packing list to pack assembled parts in boxes
Pack boxes on pallets
Develop mailing labels and shipping documents
Keep accurate records of shipments
Ensure orders are filled correctly
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education
:
Experience in reading blueprints
Good understanding of quality control principles
Excellent hand-eye coordination
Strong attention to detail
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to perform repetitive tasks
High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong computer skills
Familiarity with ISO standards
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work in noisy, greasy, manufacturing environments.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
Must be able to bend, stretch, squat, and climb as necessary.
Visual acuity to read instructions, micrometers, blue prints, and inspect parts produced.
