About the role
SAP Upgrade Project Manager (LATAM)
We are seeking
an
experienced
Project Manager
- to lead SAP upgrade
- initiatives ( e.g ., ECC or S/4HANA version
- upgrades , SPS/FPS, enhancement packs) for
- existing SAP landscapes . This role focuses
- on
- technical and functional
- upgrades , not new SAP implementations .
- Key Responsibilities
Plan and
- manage
- end-to-end SAP upgrade
- projects , including
- preparation , execution , testing , and cutover
Coordinate
- cross-functional
- teams (Basis, Functional , ABAP, Security, Testing ) across
- onshore / offshore
- models
Manage
upgrade timelines, risks , dependencies , and change
freezes
Drive
- stakeholder
- communication , status
- reporting , and executive- level
- updates
Ensure
- adherence
- to SAP best
- practices , release
- management , and validation
- requirements
Required
Experience
- 5+ years
- of SAP project
- management
- experience , with
- direct
- ownership
- of SAP upgrades
Strong
- understanding
- of SAP upgrade
- cycles (S/4HANA, ECC, SPS/FPS, technical
- upgrades )
Experience
- working
- with
- distributed
- teams in nearshore / offshore (LATAM) delivery
- models
- Solid background in cutover
- planning , testing
- coordination , and defect
- management
PMP
- or
- equivalent
- certification
- preferred ; SAP experience
- required
- Nice to Have
- Experience in regulated
- environments ( e.g ., life
- sciences , SOX, GxP )
Familiarity
- with SAP AMS or
- post-upgrade
- support
- transitions
