About the role
Essential
English and Maths GCSE at Grade C or equivalent
- Appropriate qualification to at least NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- Experience of working in a similar post or with young people in an educational or caring situation
- Experience of working with children in a classroom
- Knowledge of interventions for SEN students
Good level of IT Skills
- Ability to work closely as a member of a team and able to adapt to the varying demands of differing students.
- Ability to positively relate to students with challenging behaviour.
- Ability to work with small groups of students under supervision
- Motivated individual who demonstrates initiative and who aims for very high standards.
- A commitment to the Inclusion of all children
