Key Responsibilities
Drive Technical Delivery
Act as the technical lead overseeing the successful design, integration, and architecture of the Embedded Accountancy product ecosystem
System Integration
Collaborate closely with external financial service APIs (specifically Sage) to build robust, compliant, and highly secure ledger and bookkeeping syncing tools
Engineering Leadership
Provide exceptional mentorship, guidance, and strategic direction to engineering squads, fostering high standards for code quality, architectural integrity, and knowledge sharing
Cross-Functional Communication
Function as a primary technical translator between executive stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to align technical workflows with commercial business cases
Foster Best Practices
Champion a culture of excellence by establishing documentation standards, performance profiling frameworks, and robust system observability
What We Are Looking For
Essential Experience
- Proven experience operating at a Senior, Lead, or Staff Engineer level within a modern, cloud-native technology ecosystem
- Strong foundations in building microservices, distributed system integration patterns, and data schema architecture
- Exceptional technical leadership capabilities with a track record of driving cross-functional alignment and mentoring junior-to-mid-level engineers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
