The Health Care Assistant within our general practice will work as part of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team delivering excellent care to our community.
The role will involve using skills in blood pressure monitoring, performing ECGs, administering injectable medications and vaccines (where trained), performing point of care INR monitoring, and undertaking chronic condition reviews. The candidate will aid the wider practice team, comprising doctors, nurses, pharmacists and paramedic. HCAs will also ensure that clinical areas throughout the practice are prepared and maintained in line with infection control procedures and supply needs. The applicant will be supported with clinical supervision and administrative support from our approachable and proactive team.
