Overview
- Work and train with the industry's finest professionals! FlatironDragados' Intern Program provides challenging and rewarding work opportunities for college students majoring in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Construction Management.
- What you will be doing
- Review contract drawings and owner requests for proposals.
- Assist in building HCSS estimates or excel rough order of magnitude estimates.
- Perform quantity takeoffs.
- Solicit or coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist in researching innovations and cost alternates to provide competitive advantage.
- Assist in recording meeting minutes, tracking RFIs or other organizational functions.
- Assist in creating PowerPoint presentations, schedules or other graphics that may be used in a proposal.
- Assist in reviewing or drafting proposal writing content.
- Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.
- Performs additional assignments per management’s direction.
- What we are looking for
- Preconstruction interns are required to be currently enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a similar program at an accredited technical college or university
