Job Description
Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Detector Packaging Manager, this position provides assembly support for Detector Packaging Operations in a cleanroom and laboratory environment. The role requires the progressive development and application of technical skills to support production objectives.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform aqueous ultrasonic cleaning operations
Operate laser marking equipment
Perform getter welding operations
Execute adhesive die bonding processes
Conduct wirebonding and pull testing
Package products using vacuum sealing processes
Conduct multipart test and calibration activities
Use stereo zoom microscopes to inspect and evaluate components
Perform alignment measurements and inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications
Maintain accurate production documentation, including traveler records and work-in-process (WIP) tracking
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED
2+ years of technical or related industry experience
Job Qualifications:
High attention to detail
Knowledge of cleanroom procedures and protcols
Prior experience using a microscope
Prior experience handling ESD-sensitive hardware
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for performing detailed assembly and handling tasks
Able to work in a cleanroom environment while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), including coveralls, gloves, masks, hair covers, and shoe covers, for extended periods
Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Able to read, write, and communicate effectively using the English language
Able to sit for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours a day
Able to lift or carry up to 25 lbs., unassisted
Able to push or pull up to 50 lbs., unassisted

Salary Range: $39,000.00-$52,000.000
