Lung Cancer Specialist Nurse, Band 6 (19.5 hours a week)
The post holder should demonstrate well-developed interpersonal, communication, negotiating and influencing skills demonstrated through experience of working in complex and demanding environments.
Demonstrate and promote a holistic, patient centred style of clinical practice. The post holder will have a critical detailed understanding of theory and practical knowledge of Lung cancer treatment and management. Evaluate and analyse clinical problems using their clinical knowledge, seeking out and applying relevant evidence, enhanced interpretation of clinical investigations, interventions and skills to make clinical decisions. These will include ordering and interpretation of radiological investigations, pathology and haematology and biochemistry.
