What You'll Do
As an Experienced Sheet Metal Installer, you will play a key role in installing and fabricating high-quality metal roofing systems and accessories on commercial and residential projects. You'll work alongside a talented team while helping train and mentor apprentices as they develop their skills.
Responsibilities include:
Installing standing seam roofing systems, coping, gutters, downspouts, drip edge, metal panels, and related accessories
Measuring, cutting, and fitting sheet metal materials accurately
Reading and understanding metal diagrams and project layouts
Identifying roofing materials and understanding their applications
Assisting with material loading, unloading, and job site setup
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Operating hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
Following OSHA, SMACNA, manufacturer, and company safety standards
Providing leadership, guidance, and positive reinforcement to apprentices and team members
What We're Looking For
2–5 years of sheet metal or metal roofing experience
Basic knowledge of metal roofing installation and production processes
Ability to read a tape measure accurately
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work at heights without restrictions
Ability to climb ladders and work safely in various weather conditions
Basic math, problem-solving, reading, and writing skills
Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
