About the role
Description
- WORK DESCRIPTION: Maintains the company premises in a clean and orderly condition.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Maintains sanitary and infection control procedures on the premises.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other outside areas of the premises.
- Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors, using brooms, mops and power cleaning appliances.
- Vacuums rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
- Dust furniture, equipment and other items in offices and other work areas.
- Washes walls, woodwork, and windows as necessary.
- Empties trash and transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies as needed from storage inventory.
- Responsible for safe and proper handling of all cleaning machinery and supplies.
- Maintains all cleaning equipment and supplies required to perform work task.
- Performs other work related duties as assigned.
SHIFTS 1st and 2nd Shift Flexibility Required
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Able to relate well with others.
- Some experience in general housekeeping preferred.
- Able to push 30 – 60 lbs. power cleaning appliance, and able to lift up to 30 lbs. of trash and supplies.
- Pay Rate $15.00 per hour
