Pay: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour
Description
Job Summary: Provides patient transportation on BLS vehicles to and from various medical facilities. Rewarding full time position, in a team setting, assisting EMTs with patient care.
Responsibilities
:
Assists the EMT partner with transfers / stretcher / equipment needs.
Operates vehicle safely and professionally, obeying all traffic laws as well as company rules.
Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle and ensures needed supplies are in place.
Communicates with Dispatch to ensure all calls are completed timely.
Provides a supportive environment during transportation of all patients.
Assures gas supply is adequate in vehicle to avoid unnecessary stops.
Demonstrates teamwork, professionalism, honesty and respect.
Requirements
Requirements:
Valid drivers license with clear history.
Valid EMSVO certification
Experience with BLS vehicles
Good customer service skills
