The GPwER/GPwSI will provide specialist dermatology assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management within community clinics. Working autonomously and alongside Consultant Dermatologists, the post holder will deliver patient-centred care, support NHS pathways, and contribute to service development.
Conduct specialist dermatology outpatient clinics.
Assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of dermatological conditions.
Triage and manage referrals in line with agreed clinical pathways.
Perform dermatology procedures within competence, including skin biopsies, cryotherapy, curettage, and minor surgery where appropriately trained.
Recognise and manage suspected skin cancers through appropriate referral pathways.
Maintain accurate clinical records and correspondence.
Participate in audit, clinical governance, and quality improvement activities.
Work collaboratively with Consultants, GPs, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
