SUMMARY
: The shipping and receiving clerk is responsible for ensuring warehouse operations meet delivery goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
:
Ensures orders are prepared, packaged, and shipped accurately and efficiently.
Studies shipping notices, invoices, orders and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules.
Plans, coordinates, and monitors the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of goods.
Proficient use of automated and computerized systems where utilized.
Responsible for keeping stock control systems up to date and ensuring inventory accuracy.
Contributes to inventory control and monthly inventory audits.
Maintains standards of safety, cleanliness, and security in the work environment.
Maintains relationships with suppliers and transport companies.
Partners with purchasing to ensure adequate inventory exists to meet delivery goals.
Ensures the cleanliness of work areas and warehouse in general.
Other duties as assigned by both manager and lead
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to obtain a KY Pharmacy Technician license
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong attention to detail
High degree of customer service
Basic computer skills including Gmail, Google Drive, and G-Suite programs
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Stand, bend and reach for long periods of time
Ability to lift 20-30 lbs
