Salary: £49387.00 to £56515.00
Due to significant service investment we are looking for enthusiastic Occupational Therapists to join our friendly Children's Therapy team in Worcestershire. The successful candidates will be working alongside a dynamic team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Assistant Practitioners, Specialist Play Nursery Nurses and other health and education professionals providing a community service to children and young people with a variety of needs. The post holders would be based at one of our three bases (located in Kidderminster, Worcester or Bromsgrove) and will be required to travel across the county. The service works closely with mainstream and special schools, child development centres and family hubs as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure children's needs are identified and supported across the system. It is an exciting time of service development whilst we move towards implementing the balanced system across therapy services and a link therapy model. We are working towards Experts at Hand bringing Occupational Therapy directly into mainstream schools, colleges and nurseries to support children earlier. We are a fantastic team offering a variety of opportunities for learning, CPD, multi-disciplinary working and have a strong focus on supervision.
This exciting role involves being a key member of the Children's Occupational Therapy leadership and clinical team helping to shape the Experts at Hand model in early years for OT. You will oversee projects and quality improvement initiatives to design and embed support at a universal, targeted and specialist level within early years settings
