PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
:
Driver Helper
- assists
- drivers who deliver goods to businesses and customers.
- As a driver helper, you will
- be responsible for
- all activities except the actual driving: loading and unloading items, contacting customers, collecting payments,
- keeping in touch
- with dispatcher or manager, doing delivery paperwork etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
:
Loading and unloading company products
Assisting
drivers to find delivery locations
Compiling
- accurate
- delivery records and reports
- Reporting all delivery-related issues to the supervisor
- Effectively communicating with clients and customers to resolve complaints
Assisting
- with the unloading
- products from the truck on each delivery location
- Obtaining clients and customers’ signatures as an acknowledgement of having received the delivered products
- Ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to
- Any other duties assigned by the management
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
:
- Proven customer service experience is preferred
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work flexible hours
Excellent communication skills
Friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to work with little supervision
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Successfully passing the Human Performance Evaluation on Lift, Lift-Carry, Push-Pull, Climb, and Repetitive Posture.

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING
High school or GED equivalent.
