Position Objective:
Assist with Day-to-Day operations of the retail store and production department
Experience, Requirements: Good Work Ethic
Interest or Experience in working with reusable goods
Coaching, teaching or teamwork experience desired
Communicate professionally and clearly
Supervisor experience
Problem solving capabilities
Ability to work with a variety of people
Self motivated and able to work independently
Willing to be trained to use machinery
Mature Christian in agreement with Hope Gospel Mission’s Faith Statement and Christian Code of Conduct
Summary of Responsibility – Illustrative, not all inclusive:
Direct and support all logistics of physical donation
Fill in for staff as needed or directed by supervisor
Cross-train in production departments
Assist in training new employees as needed
Work alongside Vocational Training participants and volunteers
Set an excellent example of work ethic
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Motivated to accomplish and exceed, required tasks
Ability to periodically lift up to 25lbs.
Assist in maintaining the intentional, faith-based, healthy, healing community and code of conduct.
