Working 24 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, the postholder will help coordinate and deliver welcoming, inclusive community dementia programmes and activities, building trusted relationships with individuals and families and providing information, practical support and signposting where appropriate. The role involves developing relationships with synagogues, volunteers, community organisations and health and social care professionals, supporting volunteers, contributing to dementia awareness and training, monitoring attendance and feedback, and helping identify local needs and opportunities to develop services. Although based within a defined geographical area, you will work collaboratively across the wider Community Dementia Team and contribute to team-wide initiatives and events. Regular travel between Redbridge, Southend and other local hubs will be required.

Working 24 hours per week, you will help deliver meaningful activities and support that enable people to remain connected, active and included within their communities. You will build trusting relationships, work alongside volunteers and develop strong links with synagogues, community organisations and health and social care professionals.
